BS Serie tubes have medium modulus and resistance values, obtained by mixing carbon and glass fibers inside them. This allows for a lower price compared to the other standard full-carbon tubes but still maintains a great look and good mechanical features.
These tubes are largely employed in the nautical sector in the construction of support poles to hold boat awnings, bowsprits or other structures, as well as table legs or similar applications in the furniture industry.
If necessary, we can manufacture conical carbon tubes with varying thickness, as it often happens in bowsprits. This special realization is subjected to the available molds we own at the moment or to the construction of a new one at a more than acceptable cost.
The good compressive strength values and outer look in carbon-weave finish make BS Tubes ideal for a good number of other applications in the nautical sector.
