The municipality of Capannori, on the occasion of the celebrations of the bicentenary of the foundation of the city, wanted to award, with the delivery of special honours, citizens, associations and businesses who have distinguished themselves for their activity, to promote the values ​​of Capannori and to make known the Tuscan municipality in the world. On September 23, 2023, the mayor Luca Menesini appointed 13 Ambassadors of Capannori, giving them a parchment with the motivation for the recognition. In particular, Italcanna was recognized as a "leading company in the fishing rod sector, a point of reference for enthusiasts and professionals of this sport, a symbol of the ability of small and medium-sized local businesses to achieve success and international visibility thanks to productions that demonstrate the 'high quality of Made in Italy'. We sincerely thank the entire Municipality for this important and unexpected recognition.
